The GetMyROM app offers a straightforward solution for measuring Range of Motion (ROM) with remarkable efficiency, requiring only three taps. This innovative application has been available on the App Store for over five years, providing users with a reliable alternative to traditional goniometers.

Research supports the app's effectiveness, as evidenced by an inter-rater reliability ICC ranging from 0.92 to 0.94 when compared to the standard goniometer, which records an ICC of 0.91 for shoulder external rotation. Additional findings indicate a strong positive correlation between the GetMyROM app and a digital inclinometer for passive ROM measurements of the elbow (r = .98, p < .01) and wrist (r = .97, p < .01).

This app transforms an iPhone® or iPod Touch™ into a digital inclinometer, enabling health and fitness professionals—including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and personal trainers—to conduct quick and accurate ROM assessments.
